Community Tournament Consultation Portal Article Discussion

Please discuss your idea's and suggestion for the tournament here, your feedback will be reviewed and taking into account for the preparation of the large cash prize tournament!

I say along with the money give a sort of trophy like a model of the hand of nod or something to commemorate the champion and for 2nd and 3rd, find some volunteers to spread the word about the tournament, and i know it seems far fetched but even if you lose on the tournament get a signed autograph something like that of the champs and of founders of this site for participating in the tournament how would kane say it " a Grand Gesture".

i think u should allow tele of epics,but not the garriosoned prodogy/mastermind on hexa,that way u can counter with emp without worrying about the hexa jumpin on one of ur jug and teleing off.(teleing is all trav can do vs brute force)

You got a player here is experience in refereeing tournaments I.E. me.

Are you talking about just normal hexa teleport or phased hexa teleport?

... are main goal is to stop EMP Tele now we can make rules stop tele or players take the risk and get DQ if then even misclick at all if emp hits and they tele its DQ Or Kill there own hax  but thank you for the post

... Yeah I agree no emp teleports but other then that,can do whatever you like. EG have a prod in hexa, aswell as a spare one at your base and teleport all day everyday if choose fit. lol.

Sweet no more EMP Teleports, one less thing I have to worry about when I am playing.

We can have fun FFA tournies (If cash prize is involved, I doubt a huge deal, if not any would go into it)
FFA tournies are rare.

If you want a balanced tournament,I suggest it should be vanilla factions only. Sub-factions ruin it imo.

To be honest, teleporting a epic unit doesn't bother me as its part if the masterminds/prodigys power, but maybe the time it takes to teleport it could be longer.

At least you lot understand that teleporting a EMP'd unit is an exploit... Everyone on xbox says it's not lmao, and that's why people just pick Traverler-59 and whore the shit out of it, not to mention as well the corrupter healing rate is ridiculous. Four corrupters on xbox healing a unit is the equivalent to about 12 corrupters on the PC.

Yeah, vanilla factions only tournament is super awesome, last one that Gr hosted was good.

If we know format. We will know maximum number of games for player. I think every player can pick 1 of 10 factions (including random) for first 10 games and for every future games.... I mean if player won 2-1 in round 1 using BH, GDI and Nod - for next round he must use only factions, who left from list (ZOCOM, ST, Mok, T59, R17, Scrin and Random). When player post replay he must post message with used factions for all know what faction he used... This a little hard, but this give us more balanced and more strategic and tactic tourny... U must thinkin about your next opponents... sometimes risk with underpowered factions for save good factions choise for hardest opponent.... Sorry for my pro skill english - how all understand what i mean. This give to all players chances for win and show real skill of every player. Not only 1 faction players... About game - all tactics allowed, no tele+hexa emp bug, no beam+venom bug , and - very important - no forcefire behind spikes when engi try to capture it. It defin. bug too and must be not allowed... I prefer too for no all in rule - this give a lot of good games, but not me decide this... Or maybe not sell mcv first 5 min (only after rush for recover)...

That idea from unleashed is interesting (if i understood right), using every faction (including random) at least once in all your games until u've used all the factions. I quite like this idea.

As for teleporting the hexapod, I agree with the fact you shouldn't be able to teleport a emp'd unit but I think the instant DQ for a misclick and if its CLOSE shouldn't be the case as bikexrush suggests.

All vanilla, yeah it would be balanced but I'd miss the variety of factions in the game (one reason I prefer Kanes Wrath to Tib Wars) even if it leads to a little unbalance.

An no all in rule? I know its not my place to say but I feel this would lessen the tatics and perhaps make scouting less important (in early game) and would lead to alot of eco games.

Just my opinions, I'll be happy to play in almost any tournament
