Welcome everyone to the prestigious Command Cup 2015 proudly hosted by Kane's Wrath Online featuring the culmination of over five months of brutal, intense and extremely competitive game play from across the Command & Conquer community. Commanders from a broad range of locations and factions have successfully qualified for this amazing league ending event which has been officially launched today! This tournament event may very well be the final event ever to be seen of its size and scale for the game that we have loved for more than eight years, Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath! Tournament officials encourage all participants to please read the following article very carefully as it will explain the event and proceedings, including how to claim some of our massive cash prizes. This is it Commanders, the Command Cup 2015 has officially launched!

Tournament Details
The Kane's Wrath Online Command cup 2015 Week One tournament will be played over the period of several hours on the date and details advised below, please ensure that you allow enough time to complete the tournament should you choose to participate within this event.

*We understand that several players experience difficulty connecting to Revora, therefore please use the KWO tournament server or GameRanger in these situations.

Primary Faction Strike Rule
The strike rules are making a return for the Command Cup 2015, please read this paragraph carefully to see how you can take advantage of this mechanic. The primary faction strike rule can only be used once per match (per best of series) and can only be used by players who have lost at least one game within the series. The primary faction strike rule allows a players to prevent their opponent from selecting a specific faction which also includes the sub factions (and random) associated with this faction. Example, striking GDI will prevent a player from using GDI, ST, ZOCOM and random for one game only.

Cash Prize
Special thanks must be provided to the community for assisting to raise the large cash prizes that we now have on offer for the tournament event, officials would like to thank all those who have generously donated to our tournament, thank you. The following cash prizes will be available for the tournament event:

Command Cup 2015 Total Prize Pool
$600 USD

First Prize = $300,  Second Prize = $125, Third Prize = $75,  Random Prize = 4x$25

Map Pool
All 1v1 1.02+ compatible maps are allowed within the tournament, thee are no map limitations within the tournament with the only exception being that you cannot play the same map twice within a single round. Initially, the first map for each bracket will be predetermined by officials, from there it will always be the losers choice.

Winner Bracket First Map: Twisted Rift
Loser Bracket First Map: Mountain Pass

*Example: All players must play Twisted rift as their first map while in the winner bracket (including your first opponent), in the event that a players falls to the loser bracket then the first map of any match there will be Mountain Pass.

Qualifiers & Brackets
Congratulations to all those players who have successfully qualified for the amazing tournament event, these players will now be given the opportunity to engage in all out combat for a chance at our available cash prizes. Please view the above video for further information regarding how the brackets were drawn as well as further information. Alternatively, clicking on the below picture will reveal all of the brackets for week one. Sixteen (16) players will enter the first week of the Command Cup 2015, with the top eight (8) players qualifying for week two, to be played the following week. Please note that brackets for week two and three will be seeded depending on where players finished within the previous round, there is no more random tier seeding beyond week one.

Command Cup 2015 Timeline
The Command Cup 2015 will be played over the period of three weeks, each week will eliminate half of the players until week three where the top four players will battle it out over the major cash prizes. Please refer to the countdown timer which will be present on all pages of the website, available form the top left hand column.

Tournament Rules
Failure to comply with any tournament rules will result in instant disqualification from the tournament as well as the forfeit of any potential cash prizes, referees also have the power to disqualify players the event within reason. Tournament officials will not tolerate any unsportsmanlike behaviour, specifically disobeying a tournament official or attempting to stall the tournament whether intentionally or by inattention.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL RESULTS IN INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION AS WELL AS ANY POTENTIAL CASH PRIZES.

Being Late: Our website will feature a countdown timer to assist people with time zone conversion, we highly recommend that you also convert the time yourself using an online time zone converter. Failure to be present in the designated lobby will result in your position being replaced by a reserve player, no exceptions. Players who must leave part way through an event will be instantly disqualified and forfeit any potential cash prizes.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT WITHIN THE LOBBY A FULL TEN (10) MINUTES BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR POSITION BEING DELEGATED TO A RESERVE PLAYER, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Factions: All factions are playable including random, all strategies and tactics are allowed including camping, one clicking as well as all in rush tactics with MCV sells. Players can mutually agree on factions, however in the event that players continue to counter pick, then they may request a referee to blind pick via the in game private message system.

Exploits, Disconnections & Desyncs: All known exploits are banned and will result in instant disqualification from the tournament in its entirety, no exceptions. Referees will immediately review contested games to determine an appropriate result in the event of a disconnection if players cannot mutually agree on the outcome (win/loss replay etc.)

Known Exploits:
- Teleporting redeemer without a mastermind/prodigy
- Teleporting an EMP’d unit, teleporting out of a stasis field
- Multiple beam avatar upgrades with only one beam cannon
- Beam Venom range glitch

*IMPORTANT: This is an incomplete list and is a basic representation that we will not tolerate any kind of exploiting, referees have the power to disqualify players at will in the event that players engage in an unfair exploitation of a unit outside of the developers intentions.

Tournament Organisation
The Kane’s Wrath Online Command Cup 2015 tournament organisation will be handled by Kane’s Wrath Online staff members. Additionally, Sybert has expressed interest in casting the event, we will endevour to provide live streaming if possible.
